Summit Certified Direct is operated by Dartel & Son LLC, Indiana, United States. Questions can be directed to contact@dartelandson.com.
Information in inquiries
If the inquiry forms are enabled, they store your name, email, message, selected topic or merchandise details, and any SKU or order reference you choose to provide. These records are stored in a private database on Summit’s hosting account and are available only through protected administration or authorized hosting access.
Submit only the information needed for the inquiry. Do not include payment card numbers, passwords, government identifiers, or private customer records. This website does not collect payments.
Security and necessary storage
A session cookie is used for form security and duplicate-submission handling. A keyed hash of your IP address is used for rate limiting; raw IP addresses are not stored by the application. The hosting provider may maintain its own server and security logs.
Retention and measurement
The application removes inquiries older than 90 days during maintenance. Rate-limit records expire and are removed during maintenance. The website does not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics scripts. Optional aggregate measurement is disabled by default; no visitor counts or performance figures are represented as actual analytics.
External services
Product images may load from eBay’s image servers, which receive the network information needed to serve an image. Following a marketplace link takes you to that service, where its privacy terms apply. Inquiries are stored here. When notifications are enabled, the company mailbox receives the inquiry type, reference, timestamp and a link to the protected inbox. Customer names, contact details and message contents are not copied into that notification.
